Jesus also tells us prior to this that we should not babble like pagans when we pray just to be heard saying many words...we should go into our room and close the door. God knows what we need before we ask Him, we do not need to make a spectacle of ourselves to others to be heard by the Father.
So, I ask again...How do you pray? How do you talk with the God of all creation? This page will include various ways in which I personally commune with my Savior...music, scripture, life-stories that give way to conversation with Him, pictures, quotes, etc. My hope is that you may be blessed as I am and find comfort and joy in these conversations that I share as I continually add to the collection ...
Feb. 28, 2012 My first entry is a song by Jaci Velasquez, "On My Knees".
Can I share a secret with you? It's not the fishing that I am focusing on at that moment I look up, but the Lord's artistry. It's the quietness of the world with only The Creator and I talking in that moment. He speaks to me with the sounds of each wave breaking on the shore, with the songs of the birds flying nearby, maybe the distant sounds of children playing at the edge of the water. In those moments He is telling me, "See, Terri, if I can do all this, just think of the master-piece I will have with you as my clay." My response can only be, "Take me Father and mold me to Your Will."
"Thank you Lord, for my friends whom You hand-picked just for me!"
March 27, 2012 "Thank You, Jesus for Your strength and comfort. Thank You for Your promise of Philippians 4:13."
June 2, 2012 This was one of my favorite songs as a teenager. It always gave me a smile, and always lifted my spirit to help me to sing praises to the Lord.

Psalm 105:1-4 1 Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. 2 Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. 3 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. 4 Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.
June 13, 2012 1 Peter 5:6-7 "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
1 Peter 5:12b "...my purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that the grace of God is with you no matter what happens." (NLT)
